A Nebraska senior has been named the Softball on Sports Illustrated Player of the Week. Hannah Camenzind won the national honor for the second time this season.

Camenzind led Nebraska with a .692 batting average, a .750 on-base percentage with two doubles, four runs scored, and nine RBI.

She also picked up a win in the pitcher's circle last Tuesday against Omaha. The senior allowed one hit in four innings of work.

Nebraska will wrap up the regular season this weekend on the road against the Penn State Nittany Lions. Game one is on Friday, May 1, at 4 p.m. CT.
