Nebraska softball star Jordy Frahm is making waves this season, earning a spot on the Top 25 list for USA Softball's Collegiate Player of the Year. The Nebraska native has been turning heads with her incredible two-way play, recently being named Softball America's No. 1 two-way player heading into May.
Frahm is dominating both at the plate and in the circle. Offensively, she's hitting an impressive .423 with 17 home runs and 45 RBIs, boasting a slugging percentage of .879. On the mound, she's equally formidable, posting a 15-4 record with a stellar 1.30 ERA. She's also racked up nine saves and struck out 174 batters over 129.2 innings pitched.
Frahm is one of four Big Ten players on the prestigious list, joining UCLA's Megan Grant and Jordan Woolery, as well as Purdue's Moriah Polar. The field of 25 finalists will be narrowed to 10 on May 13, with the top three announced on May 18. For fans of Nebraska softball, this is a season to remember as Frahm continues to shine on the national stage.
