Nebraska softball (37-6) faced off against Omaha (29-9) for the third and final time this season on Tuesday night. The Huskers completed the seasonal sweep, taming the Mavericks 11-4.

Nebraska and Omaha traded three-run innings and a single-run inning in the first half of the game, heading into the fourth tied 4-4. The Huskers, however, pulled away in the fourth, doubling their run total before chalking up three more runs across the remainder of the game. Nebraska finished with 14 hits while the Mavericks totaled six.

Ava Kuszak dominated on the night to lead the Huskers, batting 4-for-5 for four RBIs, which included a double and a two-run home run. Jesse Farrell also hit one over the wall, striking a three-run shot to finish the game with three RBIs. Samantha Bland and Alexis Jensen both delivered a solo home run while Kacie Hoffmann and Hannah Camenzind each contributed an RBI. H. Camenzind, Bland and Jensen also finished with two hits, along with Jordy Frahm.

H. Camenzind (5-0) won in the circle for Nebraska, pitching the final 4.0 innings and shutting down Omaha's bats. She earned one strikeout and allowed one hit and no runs. Jensen started the game and threw five strikeouts against three hits and four runs across the first 3.0 innings.

Nebraska returns to Lincoln for its final home series of the season, playing host to Iowa starting Friday night. The first pitch is set to start at 5:30 p.m. CT on B1G+.
