The NBA has officially set a late-night showdown for Game 6 of the Celtics vs. 76ers first-round playoff series, tipping off at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday night at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. After the 76ers forced another game with a gritty Game 5 win at TD Garden on Tuesday, the series now shifts back to Philly with Boston holding a 3-2 lead. Fans can catch all the action on Peacock and NBC Sports Network.

The Celtics have been strong on the road this series, boasting a 2-0 record away from home. However, one of those wins came with Joel Embiid sidelined, adding an extra layer of intrigue as the Sixers' star center is expected to suit up for this critical matchup. Boston will look to close out the series and avoid the pressure of a Game 7 back in Boston.

Thursday night is packed with playoff drama, as the NBA also announced two other Game 6s. The Hawks will host the Knicks at 7 p.m. ET from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with New York aiming to seal the series. Later, the Timberwolves will try to finish off the Nuggets on their home court at Target Center with a 9:30 p.m. ET tip. Both games will air on ESPN, making for a thrilling triple-header of basketball.

If the Celtics can close out the series in six games, they'll advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals against either the Knicks or Hawks. Game 1 of that series would likely tip off on Saturday or Monday at TD Garden, giving Boston a chance to rest and prepare for the next challenge.

For fans looking to gear up for the playoffs, this is the perfect time to stock up on Celtics and 76ers apparel to support your team through every high-stakes moment. Whether it's a Jayson Tatum jersey or a Joel Embiid hoodie, make sure you're dressed for the playoff run.
