The Eagles are looking to add some depth to their secondary—and a key special teams contributor could be on the way. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, cornerback Nazeeh Johnson is scheduled to visit with Philadelphia on Monday.
Johnson, 27, entered the league as a seventh-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2022. Since then, he's suited up for 29 career games, making six starts. His 2025 season was cut short by a shoulder injury, limiting him to just two games where he played exclusively on special teams.
When healthy, Johnson has shown he can be a versatile piece. In 2024, he logged 48 percent of defensive snaps and 40 percent of special teams snaps across 16 games—a workload that highlights his value on both sides of the ball. For the Eagles, who are always looking to strengthen their special teams unit, Johnson could be a smart, low-risk addition with upside.
