After nearly 30 days of uncertainty in WNBA free agency, Natasha Cloud has finally found her next home—and it's in the Windy City. The Chicago Sky announced Monday that they've signed the veteran guard to a one-year deal worth $555,000, according to The Athletic.

"Natasha is one of the best passers and defenders in our league," Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said in a statement. "She fits in with the other proven winners on our roster."

Cloud, a 10-year WNBA veteran, brings a championship pedigree and defensive tenacity to a Sky team looking to build on its winning culture. Last season with the New York Liberty, she averaged 10.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.2 steals—numbers that underscore her all-around impact on the court.

Before her stint in New York, Cloud spent a season with the Phoenix Mercury, where she started 38 games and posted impressive averages of 11.5 points, 6.9 assists, and 1.4 steals. That performance earned her All-Defensive Second Team honors, further solidifying her reputation as one of the league's premier two-way players.

But Cloud's journey to Chicago is rooted in her eight seasons with the Washington Mystics, where she truly made her mark. With the Mystics, she started 204 games, became the franchise's all-time leader in assists (1,258), and ranked fourth in steals (236). Most importantly, she helped lead Washington to a WNBA championship in 2019, proving she knows what it takes to win when it matters most.
