Change is in the air at Loftus Road as Queens Park Rangers prepare to say goodbye to three experienced players this summer. Goalkeepers Paul Nardi and Ben Hamer, along with midfielder Isaac Hayden, will all depart when their contracts expire—marking the end of an era for the R's.

Paul Nardi, who arrived from Belgian side KAA Gent in June 2024, quickly established himself as the club's number one. The 31-year-old Frenchman made 63 appearances in total, including 45 starts during the 2024-25 season. However, this campaign has been a different story. With Joe Walsh taking the starting spot, Nardi has featured in just 17 league matches and only two since mid-December. It's been a quiet end to what was once a prominent role between the posts.

Veteran shot-stopper Ben Hamer, now 38, joined QPR on a short-term deal in September as injury cover. His steady presence earned him an extension through the summer, and he's made seven appearances for the club. While his time at Loftus Road has been brief, his experience has been a reliable safety net for the squad.

In midfield, Isaac Hayden's journey with QPR has come full circle. The Jamaica international returned to the club last summer after being released by Newcastle United, having previously spent a four-month loan spell with the R's during the 2023-24 season. This time around, the 31-year-old made 30 appearances across all competitions, proving his worth as a hard-working and versatile option in the middle of the park.

As the summer transfer window approaches, QPR will be looking to reshape their squad. For Nardi, Hamer, and Hayden, the next chapter awaits—each leaving with their own unique story at Loftus Road.
