Multiple members of the Philadelphia 76ers discuss the adjustments they can make for Game 2 following a film session on Tuesday.

After a tough Game 1 loss to the New York Knicks, the Philadelphia 76ers are regrouping and setting their sights on a bounce-back performance in Game 2. The Sixers found themselves in an early 0-1 hole after falling 137-98 in a game that exposed their struggles to match the Knicks' relentless physicality. Now, following a productive film session on Tuesday, the team is laser-focused on making the right adjustments to even the series.

The quick turnaround from an emotional Game 7 win in Boston to facing another gritty opponent in New York took its toll on the Sixers. Fatigue was evident as they trailed by as many as 40 points on Monday night. But after breaking down the tape, the message from the locker room is clear: it's time to show up and compete.

"We got to bring ourselves to the game—not just physically, but mentally," said Kelly Oubre Jr. "We saw on film what they did well and what we didn't do well. Now it's about making those adjustments and capitalizing. We have to bring our brand of basketball to this series."

The Sixers have built a reputation for resilience this season, fighting through adversity on a nightly basis. Game 2 presents another test of their toughness, and the team is eager to prove they can rise to the occasion. "Just out there having fun, flying around, being athletic, and versatile," Oubre added. "That's our brand of basketball—gritty, resilient, and physical."

Physicality will be the key theme as the series progresses. The Knicks are a big, long, and well-coached team that knows exactly what they want to do on the court. For the Sixers to even things up on Wednesday, they'll need to match that intensity from the opening tip. Rookie VJ Edgecombe summed it up simply: "Intensity, effort, physicality. That's where it starts. They're a really physical team, and they're good. If we lack in those areas, we'll be in trouble."

With the series shifting back to a must-win mindset, all eyes are on how Philadelphia responds. If they can channel their trademark grit and execute the adjustments from the film room, Game 2 could be the turning point they need.
