Every year, prior to the PGA Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana, the event hosts multiple celebrities, usually from the region, to play in a shootout event to see who can reign supreme. Typically, this event involves multiple former or current New Orleans Saints players, including in 2025, when Pete Werner and Thomas Morstead won the whole thing, with Justin Reid and Blake Grupe also in attendance.
Once again, the Saints will be represented well in the 2026 field, this time with a new face joining alongside Reid and Werner, as rookie Tyler Shough will compete among the rest.
Former LSU and Saints quarterback will be another member, as will New Orleans native Marshall Faulk and ESPN legend Chris Berman. This should provide for some exceptional entertainment throughout the lull in the offseason, as Shough has been all over the place, winning the support of fans. From the Mardi Gras parades to the Savannah Bananas game, and now the Zurich Classic, he has done well to make New Orleans his home very rapidly.

With Saints players all over the place during the offseason, it is always fun to account for any fun events they may be in attendance for, and this certainly qualifies, as the dual-sport athletes look to take home a victory for the Saints once again.
