Michigan State football is one of the first schools to extend an offer to a 2028 athlete prospect from Maryland.

Tristan Thomas of Prince Frederick, Md. announced on Wednesday that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Thomas made the offer from Michigan State known by posting on his social media X account.

Thomas is listed as an athlete and currently unrated or unranked by 247Sports. He measures out at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds and plays for Calvert, according to 247Sports.

Michigan State is only the second known school to extend an offer to Thomas, according to 247Sports. He also holds an offer from in-state Big Ten program Maryland, who offered him in early March.
