Gloucester-bound Wales captain Jac Morgan says he is "pretty nervous" as he prepares for his final home game for Ospreys on Saturday.

This Saturday marks a bittersweet moment for Ospreys fans as Wales captain Jac Morgan prepares to take the field at the Brewery Field for the last time. The 26-year-old British and Irish Lions back row, who will join Gloucester for the 2026/27 season alongside co-captain Dewi Lake, admits he's feeling the weight of the occasion.

"I'm pretty nervous for it, to be honest with you," Morgan shared. "I've loved my time here with the Ospreys, and the support from all the supporters has been brilliant. It's probably going to be a little bit emotional afterwards."

Morgan's departure, announced in December, reflects the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Welsh regional rugby, with the WRU considering cutting one of the four teams. This Saturday's United Rugby Championship clash against Scarlets isn't just a farewell for Morgan—it's also the Ospreys' final game at the Brewery Field before their move to St Helens next season.

The flanker's journey has been remarkable. After coming through the Scarlets academy and making his senior debut in 2019, he joined rivals Ospreys two years later. Since then, he's earned 24 Wales caps, starting with a victory against Scotland in 2022, and played two Tests for the British and Irish Lions in Australia last summer.

Reflecting on his time at the region, Morgan couldn't hide his gratitude. "I came here when I was only 21. Being able to play here and learn from the players, coaches, and even the backroom staff has been brilliant. The biggest thing is the friends I've made with teammates and everyone at the club. That's something I'll cherish forever."

As the Ospreys prepare for a new chapter, fans will surely give Morgan a fitting send-off—one that honors a player who gave his all for the jersey and leaves with nothing but fond memories.
