New Boston Huron extends its dominance of Huron League girls soccer

The New Boston Huron girls soccer team is rewriting the record books. For the third consecutive season, the Chiefs have claimed the Huron League championship, cementing their status as the conference's powerhouse.

Under head coach Matt Lividini, the squad has been nothing short of dominant, boasting a staggering 29-0-1 record with 23 shutouts during this championship run. Their latest triumph came Monday, May 11, with a 7-4 victory over Airport, pushing their season record to 10-0. So far, the Chiefs have scored 66 goals while allowing just six—a testament to their explosive offense and stingy defense.

Malaya Singer and Miley Skamiera led the charge against Airport, each netting three goals. Skamiera's hat trick pushed her school-record total to 38 goals for the season. Avery Turk added a goal and three assists, while Maggie Mentzer chipped in with an assist. Defensively, freshmen Lillie Susewitz and Evanne Murray turned in standout performances, helping preserve the team's near-perfect record.
