The Dover High School boys tennis team won its seventh straight match and improved to 9-2 on the season with an 8-1 win over Salem on Monday.

The Dover High School boys tennis team is on an absolute tear, extending their winning streak to seven matches with a commanding 8-1 victory over Salem on Monday. The Green Wave, now sitting pretty at 9-2 on the season, showed their depth and dominance in this Division I clash.

It was a clean sweep in singles play for Dover, with every player delivering strong performances. Diego Lopez set the tone at No. 1 with an 8-2 win, while Matias Lopez was nearly perfect at No. 2, cruising to an 8-0 victory. Evan Weete battled to an 8-5 win at No. 3, Gavin Beauregard matched Matias with an 8-0 shutout at No. 4, and Aidan McCann edged out an 8-6 decision at No. 5. John Tran rounded out the singles sweep with an 8-3 win at No. 6.

The momentum carried into doubles, where the Lopez brothers teamed up for an 8-3 win at No. 1, and the duo of McCann and Tran secured an 8-5 victory at No. 3 to seal the deal.

Elsewhere on the courts, Winnacunnet put on a clinic in their Division II match against Lebanon. David Cuceo (No. 1, 8-0), Drew Berry (No. 2, 8-3), Aurelius Curro (No. 3, 8-3), Jake Powers (No. 5, 8-5), and Jacob Potvin (No. 6, 8-3) all notched singles wins. The doubles teams were equally impressive, with Cuceo and Berry winning 8-1 at No. 1, Curro and Bobby MacIver taking No. 2 by an 8-2 score, and Powers and Potvin completing a perfect 8-0 run at No. 3.

Spaulding found some bright spots in their Division I matchup against Keene, thanks to singles wins from Chris Richardson (No. 5) and Jackson Bell (No. 6), who also teamed up for a victory at No. 3 doubles.

Over on the girls' side, Exeter showcased their strength in a Division I meet against Nashua. Lydia Goldrick (No. 1, 8-2), Ava Castonguay (No. 5, 8-0), and Lucy Bickford (No. 6, 8-2) delivered in singles. The doubles teams followed suit, with Goldrick and Camryn Lachance winning 8-6 at No. 1, Cate Phelps and Brooke Beaulieu also taking an 8-6 decision at No. 2, and Castonguay and Bickford teaming up for an 8-1 victory at No. 3.

Dover's Paige Wilson was a standout in her team's Division I match against Nashua, winning her No. 1 singles match 8-4.

Winnacunnet's girls' team, now 8-2 on the season, earned a solid Division II win over Hampton. Hazel Brinser (No. 2, 8-4) and Eliza Dwiputra-Sumolang (No. 3, 8-3) both won their singles matches, and the duo of Brinser and Grace Bramhall pulled out a thrilling 9-8 (7-4) tiebreaker win at No. 2 doubles.

Finally, Oyster River dominated in their Division II match against Merrimack. Saarika Arthanat (No. 1, 8-2), Jessica Li (No. 2, 8-1), Reed Reed (No. 3, 8-1), Diya Sridharan (No. 4, 8-5), and Maggie Aldous (No. 6, 8-2) all won in singles. The doubles teams of Arthanat and Li (8-3 at No. 1) and Reed and Sridharan (8-1 at No. 2) kept the momentum rolling.
