The Knights (17-6) put on an offensive clinic in LPC play, scoring 18 runs on just eight hits to overpower the visiting Lions. Three players each crossed the plate three times, while adding two hits and driving in two runs apiece to fuel the victory. On the mound, a standout pitcher struck out five batters to seal the deal.
In Vermilion Valley Conference action, the Blue Devils (14-8) leaned on three hits from a key batter, a double from another, and a combined 14 strikeouts from their pitchers to defeat the host Hilltoppers (4-9). Despite the loss, a Hilltoppers pitcher managed six strikeouts over four innings of work.
The Maroons (21-6) edged out the Purple Raiders in Big 12 Conference play, thanks to three hits each from two players. Another contributor added two hits and struck out 10 batters over six innings, showcasing a complete team effort.
Home field advantage proved crucial for the Chargers (6-17) in a Big 12 Conference win over the Vikings (6-17). Two hits apiece from multiple players, combined with doubles from key hitters, powered the victory.
The Bearcats (12-10) secured a VVC win against the visiting Warriors (6-13), with three players each contributing singles. The Warriors were led by a two-hit effort at the plate.
A home run and a double highlighted the Sages' (26-3) nonconference setback on their home field, though it wasn't enough to overcome their opponents.
The Blue Devils (6-10) earned an LPC win against the host Broncos (2-14), fueled by two hits apiece from two players. A standout pitcher struck out 10 batters over 6 2/3 innings, while the Broncos managed two hits, including a double.

The Bunnies (11-14) powered past the Knights (6-14) with two home runs from one player and a long ball from another. Two hits and 14 strikeouts from a pitcher in the circle cemented the LPC victory.
Three hits, two doubles, and a pair of singles gave the Cornjerkers (2-18) the edge against the Trojans (8-19) in VVC play.
The Panthers (31-0) kept their perfect season alive with a dominant nonconference win over the Eagles (13-13). A pitcher struck out six batters over five innings while allowing just three hits, and also contributed three hits, including a home run and a double. Three other players added hits for Rantoul.
Finally, the Bearcats (12-5) saw a pitcher strike out three batters over five innings in the circle to key their victory.
