
Apr. 27—BEMIDJI — The latest iteration of the battle of the Beavers went in favor of those who reside in Minot.
The Bemidji State baseball team was swept in four games by Minot State at home over the weekend. The two schools played three games in NSIC play and one nonconference game.
Minot State rolled to a 13-1 win in seven innings to kick off the series before squeaking out a 4-2 win over BSU in Game 2 on Saturday.
Minot State (22-22, 16-17 NSIC) pulled out a pair of close wins to complete the series sweep on Sunday, winning games by scores of 8-3 and 5-2, the latter being a seven-inning contest.
Bemidji State is now 9-33 this season and 6-24 in NSIC play.
