The 2026 Myrhum Invitational delivered another unforgettable day of track and field action, with host Arrowhead sweeping both the boys' and girls' team titles on Saturday, May 9. Widely regarded as one of Wisconsin's premier meets during the outdoor season, the event showcased elite-level competition and plenty of standout performances from Milwaukee-area athletes.

On the girls' side, Arrowhead continued their dynasty, capturing their fourth consecutive team championship and their fifth in the last six years. Their depth and consistency were on full display as they held off a strong field. The boys' team added to the celebration in dramatic fashion, edging Homestead by a single point—54 to 53—to secure their third straight title. Wisconsin Lutheran finished third with 48 points, proving that the competition was fierce from start to finish.

Among the individual highlights, Wisconsin Lutheran's Niyer Clayborn turned heads in the 110-meter hurdles, blazing to a winning time of 13.70. Oshkosh West's Sydnee Nelson also impressed in the girls' 100-meter hurdles, winning her heat with a sharp 14.14. In the sprints, Mukwonago's Laela Presendofer claimed her 100-meter heat with a swift 11.95, while Arrowhead's own Trey Resch showed off his speed on the boys' side, winning his 100-meter heat in 10.53. Denmark's Ella Denor also made her mark in the girls' 100 meters, taking her heat in 12.26.

With Arrowhead's continued dominance and so many individual standouts stepping up, the 2026 Myrhum Invitational once again proved why it's a must-watch event on the Wisconsin track calendar. Whether you're a fan of blazing sprints, technical hurdles, or team battles that come down to the wire, this meet had it all.
