For the Milwaukee Admirals to play another home game in the 2025-26 season, they’ll have to win their first-round American Hockey League playoff series entirely on the road.

The Admirals, who finished the regular season with consecutive losses at Chicago on April 18 and 19, ended up in fifth place in the Central Division and will face the Manitoba Moose in the first round of the playoffs.

Because of the distance between Milwaukee and Winipeg, all games will be played on the home ice of the higher-seeded Moose.

Game 1 is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, Game 2 for 7 p.m. Friday, April 24 and a possible Game 3 for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26.

The Admirals finished the regular season with 71 points, fifth in the division, and a record of 32 wins, 33 losses, four overtime losses and 3 shootout losses. The Moose went 35-29-5-3 with 78 points, good for fourth.

Milwaukee won the regular season series, 5-3, with the teams splitting in Winnipeg.

The Admirals went 1-6 on the road in April with the victory coming against the Moose, 7-0, in the teams’ most recent meeting, April 8.

The Admirals and Moose met in the playoffs in 2022 and ’24 with the Admirals winning both times.
