The winds of change are sweeping through Milanello. With a power struggle brewing behind the scenes, AC Milan's future direction hangs in the balance—and it could take one of three very different paths. At the heart of the drama? A clash between CEO Giorgio Furlani, special advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and even a potential return for club legend Adriano Galliani. One thing is certain: director of sport Igli Tare appears to be the odd man out in every scenario.

According to Sky Sport Italia, tensions have boiled over at the Rossoneri. Internal conflicts have erupted on multiple fronts, including friction between Ibrahimovic and coach Max Allegri, as well as between Furlani and Tare. The root cause? A major financial shift. RedBird chief Gerry Cardinale recently refinanced the vendor loan he received from Elliott Management to purchase the club. This move gives Cardinale more independence from the Elliott-aligned board, which has long been represented by Furlani.

In all three potential scenarios, Tare's tenure as director of sport would be cut short after less than a year. Let's break down the options:

Scenario A: The Furlani Play
If Furlani consolidates his power, expect a clean sweep. He would likely dismiss Allegri and bring in Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano, while also recruiting current Atalanta director Tony D'Amico to reshape the sporting side.

Scenario B: Ibrahimović Takes Charge
Zlatan, never one to shy away from the spotlight, could take a stronger hand in running the club alongside Geoffrey Moncada. This path would also see Allegri shown the door, with an ambitious—and difficult—attempt to poach Fiorentina's highly-rated director of sport, Fabio Paratici.

Scenario C: The Galliani Return
The most intriguing option would see Cardinale clear the deck entirely. This would mean replacing Furlani with the return of Adriano Galliani, a familiar face from the Silvio Berlusconi era who knows the club's DNA inside out.

For now, Milan fans can only watch and wait. One thing is clear: whether it's Furlani, Ibrahimovic, or Galliani at the helm, the club is heading for a major shake-up. Who will emerge on top? The answer could define the Rossoneri's next chapter.
