Sometimes, the best player development happens away from the spotlight. While Tottenham Hotspur have had their struggles in the Premier League this season, their loan strategy for young talents has been a bright spot—and no one has shined brighter than 18-year-old Mikey Moore.

The promising academy product spent the season with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, and it's safe to say he made the most of it. After a slow start, Moore found his rhythm following Rangers' managerial change from Russell Martin to Danny Rohl. By the end of the campaign, he had become a firm fan favorite at Ibrox, tallying 7 goals and 2 assists across all competitions. While Rangers fell short in the league title race—which will be decided in a dramatic final-day showdown between Hearts and Celtic—Moore's individual growth was undeniable.

In a candid interview with Rangers Review, Moore opened up about how the experience transformed him both as a player and a person.

"No matter what happens now, this club's been a huge part of what I'm going to become," Moore said. "It's helped me so much. For me, no matter what happens, I'm a fan of this club for the rest of my life now. It's been a special experience."

But the real growth, according to Moore, was mental. "I think, mentally, I've just changed so much as a person. The way I look at stuff now, I've realized that every day means something. Before, maybe I'd have days where I was a bit switched off and I'd come into training and not be as on it as I need to be. But if you want to go and win every single game, that's the way we need to be. As a team, we need to learn that as well. Every day is a chance to improve. For me, that's been the biggest learning point."

With that kind of maturity and self-awareness, it's clear Moore has the right mindset to take the next step. Now, the big question is what comes next—and that decision rests in the hands of Tottenham's manager, Roberto De Zerbi. Whether Moore returns to Spurs ready to compete for a first-team spot or heads out on another loan, one thing is certain: his future is incredibly bright.
