The Emirates Stadium was electric. Mikel Arteta called it "unique" as Arsenal roared into their first Champions League final in two decades, fueled by a sea of noise that started long before kickoff.

Bukayo Saka's first-half strike was the difference on the night, securing a 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid and a 2-1 aggregate win. Now, the Gunners await either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on May 30, chasing a historic Premier League and European double.

"It is an incredible night," Arteta beamed. "We made history again together. I cannot be happier or prouder of everybody involved in this football club." The atmosphere, he said, was something special. "The manner we were received outside the stadium was special and unique. The energy our fans created—they lived every ball with us. I've never felt that in a stadium."

Arsenal rode their luck at times. Gabriel Magalhaes escaped a penalty call after Giuliano Simeone dashed past him and around goalkeeper David Raya, but VAR waved it away. The Gunners held firm, extending their unbeaten run in the competition.

The night brought heartbreak for Diego Simeone, still chasing continental glory after 15 years at Atletico, and likely marked the end of Antoine Griezmann's Champions League career as he heads to MLS. Arteta tipped his cap to the opponents: "We know how difficult every opponent is at this level. Atletico are an incredible team—they have an answer to everything you try to do."

For Arsenal, it's a return to the biggest stage after 20 years. And for the fans who made that noise, it's a night they'll never forget.
