"He is unlikely to have a future at Liverpool if Arne Slot is in charge next season, but the playmaker is due to report for pre-season training at Axa Training Centre in the summer."
Elliott, who won the Premier League title with Liverpool last season, has been treated shoddily during his loan spell and deserves clarity on his future. The report also suggests his fate could change if Slot is replaced, but the former Feyenoord boss is under contract until 2027, making that scenario unlikely.
