The Michigan women’s basketball team, coming off a record-setting campaign, will host national powerhouse UConn next season as part of a home-and-home series.
UConn, which has won a dozen national titles but lost in the national semifinals earlier this month, will play Michigan at Crisler Center on Nov. 5, the program announced Wednesday. This will be the first time UConn has played in the state of Michigan.
Michigan will play UConn in the return game in Connecticut during the 2027-28 season, making it three straight years the two teams will square off. The Wolverines and Huskies faced each other last season on a neutral court, with UConn winning, 72-69, at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
