Michigan State women's basketball has made a transfer portal splash on Saturday, making another addition to the roster. West Virginia forward Carter McCray has committed to the Spartans.

A 6-foot-1 forward, she averaged 6.5 points and 5.3 rebounds in 2025-26. An Oberlin, Ohio native, she started her career at Northern Kentucky before transferring to Wisconsin and then ending up with the Mountaineers. With NKU, she averaged 15.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game, while she averaged 10.6 points and 7.1 rebounds with Wisconsin.

An experienced player, she will be finishing her college career with the Spartans, looking to help rebuild the frontcourt in East Lansing.
