After a bit of hype and a lull, Dusty May is starting to fill out Michigan basketball with new faces. Just after winning the national championship, the Wolverines were connected to two top transfers, Wake Forest tweener Juke Harris and Kansas center Flory Bidunga. Harris visited Ann Arbor less than a week after the title game, but Bidunga never got off the Louisville campus, pledging to the Cardinals. Since, Harris' recruitment has fizzled, with him having no hurry to choose between Michigan, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

The maize and blue did get big man JP Estrella from Tennessee, while Cincinnati center Moustapha Triam made his way to Ann Arbor, showing that May is still at work. The power forward has had injury issues, having only appeared in six games a year ago. However, when available, he was quite good, having scored in double digits in four of those six games.

It may not speak of what the plan is if Morez Johnson Jr. is to return or go pro, as his status appears to be potentially shifting toward leaving for the NBA. But it does give the Wolverines another big option, whether Johnson stays or goes.
