Leading the way for the Canes this year are EDGEs Rueben Bain Jr. and Akheem Mesidor, along with Tackle Francis Mauigoa. All three players are expected to be chosen in tonight’s first round.
Of late, Quarterback Carson Beck has been positioned by several outlets and draft-focused journalists as potentially being the second quarterback selected in the draft, with a chance for that to happen in the first round as well. I’m not sure how much truth there is to these opinions are reports, but they’ve been more frequent in the days leading up to the draft.
It’s great to have the Canes on the big stage in a big way. So tune into the NFL Daft to see where your favorite player lands, and vote in the poll to call your shot on how many Canes are picked tonight.
