The MHSAA boys and girls track and field championships have been pushed back due to upcoming weather forecasts, the MHSAA announced on April 29. The rescheduled dates will affect classes 2A and 4A.
The change is in response to the expected impact of rain on travel and field conditions at Pearl High School, which will host all events at the Woody Barnett Track and Field Complex.
MHSAA's original track and field schedule saw classes 2A and 4A compete on May 1, starting at 10 a.m. The new championship dates are set for May 5, beginning at 10 a.m.
Classes, 5A-7A, will remain on May 2, as well as classes 1A and 3A on May 4.
