Christian Scott gets his second start of the season in Los Angeles.

It's a West Coast showdown under the lights tonight, as the New York Mets take on the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium. All eyes will be on Mets' rookie right-hander Christian Scott, who makes his second start of the season, looking to build on his early promise.

The Mets are rolling out a lineup that blends power and speed. Bo Bichette leads off at third base, followed by the red-hot Juan Soto in left field. MJ Melendez gets the nod at designated hitter, with catcher Francisco Alvarez providing pop in the cleanup spot. Brett Baty, Marcus Semien, Carson Benge, Tyrone Taylor, and Ronny Mauricio round out the order, giving the Mets a balanced attack.

On the other side, the Angels counter with a formidable lineup of their own. Zach Neto starts at shortstop, with three-time MVP Mike Trout manning center field. Yoan Moncada brings veteran presence at third base, while slugger Jorge Soler serves as DH. The bottom half features Nolan Schanuel, Jo Adell, Josh Lowe, Travis d'Arnaud, and Adam Frazier, making for a deep and dangerous order.

First pitch is set for 9:38 PM ET. If you're tuning in, you can catch the game on WPIX, or listen live on Audacy Mets Radio WHSQ 880AM, the Audacy App, or 92.3 HD2. Whether you're watching from the stands or from home, it's a perfect night to show your team pride in your favorite Mets or Angels gear.
