The New York Mets snapped their 12-game losing streak, but in the same game, they lost their shortstop, Francisco Lindor. The Mets star suffered a calf injury in the 3-2 win against the Minnesota Twins. He is in line to miss multiple weeks.

The Mets will reportedly place Lindor on the injured list. In his place, the Mets are set to go with infielder Ronny Mauricio.

Francisco Lindor (calf) likely to be placed on IL, per @NYPost_Mets.

Lindor was looking in good touch, hitting 2-for-2, driving and scoring a run, before being forced to leave the game due to left calf tightness. The injury happened when he was rounding up bases on a teammate's double, as he appeared to be uncomfortable, slowing down and grimacing in pain.

An MRI is scheduled, which will determine the extent of injury.
