TCU's frontcourt is set for a significant change as sophomore center Malick Diallo has decided to enter the transfer portal. The promising big man's time with the Horned Frogs was unfortunately derailed by injury, limiting him to just six minutes of action this past season.
Diallo, a former four-star recruit, suffered a torn ACL in TCU's 2025-26 season-opener against New Orleans. This came after a freshman campaign where he showed flashes of potential, appearing in 29 games and averaging 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds. Standing at 6-foot-9, the Mali native was the No. 30 ranked center in his high school class, choosing TCU over programs like Cal, Miami, and Vanderbilt.
His departure marks the sixth TCU player to enter the portal this cycle, joining a list that includes David Punch, Liutauras Lelevicius, Ashton Simmons, Jace Posey, and R.J. Jones. For Diallo, the move represents a fresh start with three years of eligibility remaining, offering him a chance to fully recover and showcase the talent that made him a coveted prospect.
