Kansas City Chiefs super fan and two-time Grammy and Oscar Winner Melissa Etheridge recently appeared on 'Good Morning Football.' She discussed her expectations for the team next season and shared her thoughts on the 2026 NFL Draft.

"I feel like we took a year off, which I thought was really nice for everybody. You know, we all got to rest, and it's been quite a decade of winning, winning, winning, winning. So we're just okay, we're going to take a break," said Etheridge. "I enjoyed relaxing over the holidays and just letting the new year come and just be, you know, just easy. So I'm looking forward to the draft, and Andy Reid is rested, and here we go."

Etheridge is a lifelong Chiefs fan and doesn't hold back her opinions on the franchise, especially as the team heads into next week's NFL Draft.

"It's been over a decade since the Chiefs have drafted in the top 10, so it's kind of exciting for us, and there we are, sitting at number nine. A couple of months ago, everyone was talking, "Oh, the Chiefs are going to get Jeremiyah Love." "Still, then you could tell everyone was like, well, Jeremiyah Love might not make it to number nine," said Etheridge. "So Brett goes out and gets Kenneth Walker." Wow, the Chiefs won the Super Bowl and the MVP. How did that happen? And so I think, just like every other team, we probably need an offensive line. We need that, so we need Patrick (Mahomes) to be protected. Give him those extra two or three seconds so that he can do his magic. So I think it's an offensive lineman, the most defensive lineman, but I think it's a great offense, like massive offensive lineman."

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh this year, starting Thursday, April 23rd. NFL Network and NFL+ will have live coverage of the 2026 NFL Draft on April 23-25
