The Chargers are coming off a 2025 season in which the team won 11 games but fell short of a playoff win.

In head coach Jim Harbaugh's third year in LA, the Bolts will be looking to contend in 2026. While general manager Joe Hortiz entered the offseason with the most cap space out of any NFL team, he chose to stick with his conservative philosophy and bolster the roster primarily through the draft.

The Chargers kicked off the 2026 NFL draft by selecting edge rusher Akheem Mesidor as the No. 22 overall pick. The team's busiest day was Saturday, when they made six selections, ending with Alex Harkey out of Oregon.
