For 36 years, the Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation has celebrated the best of both worlds in Collier County high school sports: elite athleticism and academic excellence. Now, the stage is set for the 2026 class to continue that proud tradition.
Fifteen graduating seniors from across Collier County have been named finalists for the prestigious Winged Foot Scholar-Athlete Award. Established in 1990 by the Collier Athletic Club, this honor recognizes students who excel in the classroom, on the field, and in their communities. Each nominee underwent a rigorous application process and faced a panel interview with the selection committee before earning their spot among the elite finalists.
The winner will be revealed at the 37th Annual Winged Foot Scholar-Athlete Award Banquet on Thursday, May 7, at the Ritz-Carlton Tiburón Resort. The evening kicks off with a silent auction and cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by the main banquet at 7 p.m.
