Real Madrid welcomed Alaves at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a good start to the contest and scored the opening goal in the 30th minute when Kylian Mbappe found the back of the net. Alvaro Arbeloa’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Vinicius Junior doubled his team’s lead in the 50th minute. Alaves got a goal back in injury time thanks to Toni Martinez’s effort. The match ended with Los Blancos securing a narrow 2-1 win at the Bernabeu.

Carreras made a positive influence at both ends of the field.
He worked hard on both halves and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
Tchouameni anchored the midfield well and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
He came back to defend when he could and managed to catch the eye at times inside the opponent’s half.
Guler engineered a few decent chances for others around him and ended the game with an assist to his name.
He caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders and managed to score at the half-hour mark.
Vinicius Jr. was a constant menace in the final third and did well to get his name on the scoresheet in the 50th minute.
