Broncos WRs Marvin Mims and Pat Bryant had mature, team-first reactions to the Jaylen Waddle trade.

The Denver Broncos' wide receiver room just got a major boost with the addition of Jaylen Waddle, and the team's current pass-catchers are responding with the kind of maturity that wins championships. Following a community event at Kaiser Elementary School—where Marvin Mims and Pat Bryant partnered with UnitedHealthcare of Colorado to donate athletic shoes to students—both receivers opened up about the blockbuster trade that sent Waddle to the Mile High City.

"He's had a heck of a career in Miami, and I think we're lucky to be with him, especially me, just to be able to learn from him," Mims said, showing a team-first attitude that's rare in today's NFL. "Hopefully he can learn some stuff from me too, but just to be able to watch him every day throughout, and get the best out of him."

Mims has been refreshingly candid about the trade, admitting it initially surprised him and left him uncertain about his own role. But the young receiver has handled it like a pro, focusing on what he can control. "For me, it's just answering the door when the bell's rung," Mims explained. "I feel like I've done that pretty well the past three years. But when I get my opportunities, make the most of it. Be a good teammate, assist the team in however many ways I can."

Pat Bryant, another receiver who could see his snap count affected by Waddle's arrival, echoed that positive mindset. "It was great, man … we're trying to get back to where we were, even further," Bryant said. When asked how he'll complement the now-loaded receiver room, he kept it simple and focused on the bigger picture: "We got a very diverse room … at the end of the day, we just weapons for Bo [Nix]."

Those mature, team-first responses from both Mims and Bryant speak volumes about the culture being built in Denver. With a diverse arsenal of weapons now surrounding quarterback Bo Nix—including the explosive Waddle—the Broncos' offense is shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with. For fans looking to rep their favorite playmakers, this is the kind of receiver room that makes every jersey a good investment.
