Martin Brundle's legendary grid walks are always must-watch TV, but his latest appearance at the Miami Grand Prix took things to a whole new level—thanks to a bizarre encounter with late-night host Jimmy Fallon that quickly went viral.
As the former Formula 1 driver made his way through the star-studded Miami GP grid, he was met by an overly excited Fallon, who instantly recognized the Sky Sports commentator. But when Brundle asked for some funny comments, the "Tonight Show" host grabbed the microphone and bit the cover—right in front of the cameras.
In true Brundle fashion, the seasoned pro calmly took the microphone back, told Fallon he could keep it, and delivered a classic deadpan response: "Don't do that again." The moment was pure gold, and social media erupted almost instantly.
"Martin knew exactly what to do and why lol," one fan commented on Motorsport.com's post. Another wrote, "It was hilarious, I was rolling on the floor laughing," while a third simply noted, "Brundle did NOT like that." The clip, shared widely across platforms, captured the perfect blend of celebrity chaos and Brundle's no-nonsense professionalism.
But Fallon wasn't the only celebrity to make an impression. DJ Khaled, who was part of the Racing Bulls livery reveal, offered a philosophical take when Brundle asked about the weather: "The weather might say one thing, and it might do the other thing. That's how life is. Life is like weather." Brundle also caught up with actor-turned-racing driver Patrick Dempsey and Hollywood star Colin Farrell, adding more star power to an already electric grid.
Beyond the celebrity antics, the race itself delivered a thrilling result. Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli stormed to victory at the Hard Rock Stadium, securing his third win of the season in style. "He did it in style. He got a bit lucky in Japan with the safety car, but his pace when he did get the lead there was absolutely mighty," Brundle told Sky Sports F1. "It was again today. And that's a big statement from Mercedes to win that grand prix."
Antonelli was joined on the podium by McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, capping off a weekend that had everything from viral moments to top-tier racing.
