Olympique de Marseille are staring down the final stretch of their season, with just three matches left to salvage their Champions League dreams. Currently sitting in sixth place, Les Olympiens have managed only one win in their last five outings, leaving them four points adrift of fourth-placed Lille OSC. The pressure is on as they travel north to face FC Nantes in a must-win clash.
In a significant blow, goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli did not make the trip, paving the way for Jeffrey de Lange to step between the posts for the first time since that painful 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. Manager Habib Beye is also forced to reshuffle his pack due to suspensions for Benjamin Pavard and Timothy Weah, both of whom will watch from the sidelines.
To patch up the gaps, Beye is expected to revert to a back four, with Leonardo Balerdi shifting to the right side of central defense. Midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi will drop into the right-back role, adding defensive solidity. The biggest boost, however, comes in attack, where star forward Mason Greenwood is set to reclaim his starting spot after being benched for last weekend's 1-1 draw with OGC Nice. His return could be the spark Marseille desperately needs.
Predicted line-up: Jeffrey de Lange; Emerson Palmieri, Facundo Medina, Leonardo Balerdi, Tochukwu Nnadi; Pierre-Emerson Højbjerg, Arthur Vermeeren; Hamed Traorè, Quinten Timber, Mason Greenwood; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
