Liverpool fans, get ready for some exciting changes at Anfield this summer. Head coach Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes are working hard to find the perfect formula to take the team to the next level, and that means shaking things up both on and off the pitch.

On the transfer front, the Premier League champions are eyeing some big names to bolster their squad. Reports suggest that Marcos Senesi, Yan Diomande, and Bradley Barcola are top targets, with the club looking to add senior cover at centre-back and inject more one-on-one quality out wide. But the changes won't stop with the first-team squad—there's a potential shakeup in the backroom staff as well.

Slot previously had John Heitinga by his side during the title-winning campaign, but the Dutchman left to take the head coach job at Ajax. Now, according to The Telegraph, Heitinga is being considered for a coaching role at Anfield ahead of the 2026/27 season. Meanwhile, another familiar face could be joining the ranks: Etienne Reijnen, who worked with Slot at Feyenoord.

Reijnen, known for his outstanding training sessions and set-piece expertise, was unable to move to Merseyside in 2024 due to work permit issues. But those problems are reportedly close to being resolved, and Slot has confirmed he wants a fresh face to join his coaching team. "Work permit issues prevented him joining his old boss on Merseyside in 2024," the report notes. "Reijnen will soon secure the qualifications he needs to be able to work in the UK."

With new signings and potential coaching additions on the horizon, Liverpool are shaping up for an exciting season ahead. Whether you're gearing up for match day or just love the Reds' style, stay tuned for more updates as the summer transfer window heats up!
