Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of yet another Ligue 1 crown, and manager Luis Enrique is already celebrating—even if the math isn't quite official yet.
The Parisians edged past Stade Brestois 1-0 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday night, a hard-fought victory that extended their lead at the top to six points with just two games remaining. While it wasn't the most commanding performance, it was enough to push PSG closer to a fifth consecutive league title.
With only two matches left, the title race is all but decided. PSG's next challenge comes midweek against their closest—and now only—pursuer, RC Lens. A win for Pierre Sage's side would cut the gap to three points heading into the final weekend. On the season's last day, PSG face Paris FC while Lens take on Olympique Lyonnais.
But here's the real cushion: even if PSG somehow lose both remaining games and Lens win both, Lens would still need to overcome a staggering 15-goal deficit in goal difference. For all practical purposes, the trophy is already staying in Paris.
Luis Enrique, never one to hide his confidence, didn't mince words after the match. "I think that we needed these points. I think that we are already champions," he told reporters. "It will be enough, I think, and it allows us to prepare on an individual level the two final matches to then prepare for the Champions League final (against Arsenal)."
The Spanish manager also tipped his cap to Lens, adding, "You have to highlight what Lens have done all season. They have been at an incredible level. It has been very difficult for us."
For fans and fashion-forward supporters alike, this title run is another chapter in PSG's domestic dominance—and a perfect excuse to gear up in the club's latest kits as they chase European glory.
