The 1961 Phillies don't just hold the team record for consecutive losses — they hold the MLB record. That Philadelphia squad lost 23 straight games, finally beating the Braves 7-4 to end it. Since then, no other Phillies team has even reached a 13-game losing streak, while the 1988 Orioles and 2024 White Sox approached the record at 21 straight losses.

Philadelphia's longest losing streak since 1990 was 11 straight in 1999. Between the 1984-85 seasons, the team also lost 12 straight games.
