Liverpool's search for Mohamed Salah's successor may have found its perfect candidate—and at a surprisingly accessible price tag.

As the Egyptian King prepares to depart Anfield this summer, leaving on a free transfer after a season that hasn't quite hit his usual heights, the Reds face the daunting task of replacing one of the Premier League's most iconic figures. At 33, Salah's exit feels premature to many supporters, especially without another trophy to cap his legendary Liverpool career. But the writing has been on the wall, and now the club must act.

Several young wingers have already been linked with a move to Merseyside, including Yan Diomande, Kevin Schade, and Bazoumana Toure. However, a new name has emerged that could be the ideal solution: Francisco Conceicao.

The 23-year-old Juventus winger has been one of Serie A's standout performers this season, contributing to four goals in his last nine league appearances. His explosive pace, dribbling ability, and direct style have drawn comparisons to a certain Egyptian—making him a natural fit for Liverpool's attacking system.

According to Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Juventus would demand around €70 million (£60 million) to part with the Portugal international. While that's a significant sum, it's a bargain compared to what top-tier wingers typically command in today's market. For context, Juventus secured Conceicao on an initial €10 million loan with a €32 million purchase option—meaning they're looking at a healthy profit if they sell.

"Conceicao is one of the few successful signings by Juventus in the last two seasons," the report notes. "He has enormous potential and is a justified investment. But €70 million would be needed to generate a substantial capital gain—making it a highly complicated deal."

For Liverpool, this represents a golden opportunity. At just 23, Conceicao offers both immediate impact and long-term potential. His experience in Portugal's national team setup and Serie A's tactical rigors suggest he's ready for the Premier League's demands. And with Salah's departure creating a void in both goals and creativity, the Portuguese star could be the perfect player to fill those famous red boots.
