Liverpool FC has released stunning images of a new memorial sculpture titled "Forever 20," honoring the late Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, which will be permanently installed outside Anfield. The tribute follows the tragic car accident last July that claimed the lives of the Portuguese attacker and his sibling, just days after Jota had married his longtime partner Rute Cardoso and was returning to Merseyside for pre-season training.

Since the devastating loss, Anfield has become a sanctuary of remembrance. Fans have transformed the stadium's exterior into a living memorial, laying scarves, banners, and flowers, while continuing to honor the brothers throughout every home game this season. Supporters and even rival players regularly stop to pay their respects near the ground, a testament to the impact Jota had on the football community.

Last season, Liverpool retired Jota's iconic No. 20 jersey across all levels of the club, and fans have kept his spirit alive by singing his name during the 20th minute of every match. Now, the new sculpture—crafted with a flowing heart at its center—celebrates Jota's signature goal celebration. From different angles, it also reveals the numbers 20 and 30, representing the brothers' playing shirt numbers.

The club describes the memorial as one that "celebrates their lives, their bond, and the love and respect felt by family, teammates and supporters across the world." It will also feature the lyrics to Jota's beloved fan chant, still sung at every game during the 20th minute. Positioned on 97 Avenue, where thousands of physical tributes—flowers, scarves, cards, banners, and even opposition jerseys—have been left, the sculpture will serve as a permanent reminder of the brothers' legacy. Liverpool has promised further updates on the official unveiling date, but for now, the images offer a poignant preview of a tribute that will forever connect the club, its fans, and the Silva family.
