Liverpool's attack is set for a major overhaul next season, and fans have every reason to be excited—and a little nervous. With Mohamed Salah reportedly on his way out and Hugo Ekitike sidelined until January due to injury, the Reds are scrambling to keep their offensive firepower alive.

It's been a tough year for Liverpool on the injury front, with the 2025-26 season shaping up as one of the most challenging in recent memory. Players like Cody Gakpo and rising star Rio Ngumoha are expected to step up under manager Arne Slot, but depth remains a glaring concern. To stay competitive across all competitions, the Anfield side knows they need reinforcements—and fast.

That's why it's no surprise to see the club linked with so many names in the transfer market. One familiar target has resurfaced: Bradley Barcola. The French winger has been on Liverpool's radar for several transfer windows now, and it looks like they might finally make a serious push for him this summer.

Barcola currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, one of Europe's elite clubs, but he's often been overshadowed by the likes of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué, and Ousmane Dembélé. Despite being a world-class talent in his own right—described by some scouts as "crazy fast"—he's struggled to secure consistent starting minutes under Luis Enrique. With PSG once again competing in the Champions League final, it's hard for him to complain, but if game time doesn't increase soon, he may look for a club where he can be the star.

Enter Liverpool. According to Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Reds have already made a rejected offer for Barcola through his agent. "My feeling is that they're going to come back this summer," Tavolieri noted, suggesting that talks could heat up again soon.

This season, Liverpool's attack has lacked the spark fans are used to seeing. Many expected the pairing of Salah and Alexander Isak to be unstoppable, but reality has told a different story. Meanwhile, young Ngumoha has been a rare bright spot, showing flashes of brilliance that give hope for the future.

Adding a dynamic, pacey winger like Barcola could be exactly what Liverpool needs to reignite their frontline—and give fans something to cheer about next season.
