Liverpool FC has unveiled the design and details of a permanent memorial at Anfield, honoring Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva. The two brothers tragically lost their lives in a car crash in northern Spain last July, sparking an outpouring of grief from across the football world.

In the days following the accident, thousands of fans left heartfelt tributes outside Anfield—flowers, scarves, shirts, and other mementos—all paying homage to the siblings. Now, the club has confirmed that a lasting tribute will take the form of a flowing heart sculpture, shaped to represent the numbers 20 and 30, the shirt numbers most closely associated with Diogo and Andre, respectively.
