Liverpool's forward line is in dire need of reinforcements, and a golden opportunity may have just emerged on the transfer market. After a turbulent season for the Reds' attack, the club has been granted priority access to a proven goal machine for a bargain €50 million.

The struggles up front have been hard to ignore. Alexander Isak, the £125 million signing from Newcastle last summer, has endured a nightmare campaign. The Swedish striker has managed just four goals, with his season derailed by a series of injuries, including a broken leg that kept him sidelined for months.

Hugo Ekitike, brought in from Eintracht Frankfurt for £69 million, started brightly with 17 goals in his debut season. But a ruptured Achilles now threatens to sideline him for the entire next year, leaving Liverpool dangerously thin in attack.

Relying solely on Isak as the only senior fit No. 9 next season feels like a risky gamble, given his injury history. Sporting director Richard Hughes is likely to be active in the upcoming transfer window, but after splashing big on strikers last summer, another nine-figure deal seems unlikely.

Enter Serhou Guirassy. The Borussia Dortmund striker, now 30, has emerged as an intriguing cut-price option. According to a new report from Fussballdaten, Guirassy is available for just €50 million—a steal in today's market—but only to a select group of seven elite European clubs.

Dortmund, with Guirassy under contract until 2028, aren't actively looking to sell. But as the report notes, "the unwritten rule of football applies here as well: Dortmund would not reject offers of €50 million or more."

The catch? A special release clause limits this bargain fee to Europe's "Big Seven": Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United. Liverpool, with their priority access, now have the chance to snap up a proven goal scorer without breaking the bank.

For a team rebuilding its attacking depth, Guirassy could be the perfect solution—a reliable, experienced finisher ready to step in when it matters most.
