Liverpool are on the hunt for a new forward after a challenging season for their attacking line. Last summer, the club splashed around £200 million on new strikers, including a British record deal for Alexander Isak and the arrival of Hugo Ekitike. However, injuries have plagued the duo—Isak has missed significant time this term, while Ekitike is sidelined with a ruptured Achilles. With Isak's fitness concerns making him an unreliable senior option, sporting director Richard Hughes is reportedly ready to enter the market for a new No. 9 at the end of the season.

One name generating buzz is Eli Junior Kroupi, a breakout star from Hughes' former club, Bournemouth. The 19-year-old French forward has lit up the Premier League with 12 goals in his first full top-flight campaign, putting himself firmly in the shop window. According to a report from Sports Boom, the Cherries are open to discussions for a fee around £60 million for the France under-21 international. Kroupi's long-term contract, which runs until 2029 and includes no release clause, gives Bournemouth strong leverage as "stubborn sellers" in negotiations.

Liverpool face stiff competition for Kroupi's signature, with Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid all reportedly circling. The Reds admire Kroupi's tactical flexibility and ability to play as a "False 9," which could add creativity to their attack in the post-Mohamed Salah era. For a club looking to refresh its forward line, Kroupi represents a high-upside investment—a young talent who could be the Premier League's next breakout star, if the price is right.
