The New York Giants went on the clock with several options. We felt like they could opt for a wide receiver to pair up with Malik Nabers but once Carnell Tate went off the board to the Titans, one of those Ohio State linebackers had to be the pick. In the end, the Giants selected linebacker Arvell Reese with their first of two first-round picks.

It might feel like overkill to add Reese with Brian Burns and Abdul Carter on the team but Reese brings something very different. Despite Reese's comments about being an outside linebacker, on this defense, he is going to be a star because he can make plays from anywhere on the field. We said in our evaluation of Reese that he's very much like Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons and this is exactly how we expect new Giants head coach John Harbaugh to use such an athletic playmaker.
