The NFL Draft is just days away, and the Detroit Lions are firmly in the mix for one of the top offensive line prospects. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor has taken a "Top 30" visit with the San Francisco 49ers, with the Lions named among several other teams he's spent significant time with.

Detroit joins a notable list of suitors that includes the Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Arizona Cardinals. This interest is nothing new for the Lions, who reportedly spoke with Proctor at the East-West Shrine Bowl in January and again at the NFL Scouting Combine.

It's easy to see why Proctor is in such high demand. Standing at a massive 6-foot-7 and 352 pounds with impressive length, he is a prototype left tackle with the potential to be a franchise cornerstone. For a Lions team that recently released veteran Taylor Decker, securing a long-term answer at tackle is a clear priority.

The draft order adds an intriguing layer to this story. The Cardinals, Browns, and Chiefs all pick in the top 10, with the Dolphins selecting 11th. If Proctor slips past that group, the Lions at pick No. 17 could be in a prime position to land him, ahead of the Eagles (No. 23) and 49ers (No. 27). As the first round approaches, all eyes will be on whether this coveted lineman makes it to Detroit's spot.
