Lexi Thompson is stepping back into the spotlight with a fresh perspective—and a new ring on her finger. The newlywed LPGA star is balancing her personal life with a part-time schedule, and she's ready to contend at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, a tournament she circles on her calendar every year.

"Finding that balance has been so important for me," said Thompson, now 31 and in her 17th year on tour. "I made the decision about two years ago. This life has been amazing, but I just got married and want to settle down, start a family, and be home. It's been huge for my mind."

Thompson, a major champion and one of the most recognizable faces in women's golf, no longer plays a full schedule. Instead, she picks her spots—choosing courses that suit her game and events that fit her life. "I know what courses set up for my game and what works with my schedule," she explained. "But it's really about how my game feels. I don't want to get up for an event if I don't feel like I can win it."

One place she always feels ready: Blythefield Country Club. The Meijer LPGA Classic, now in its 12th year, runs June 18-21 and has raised more than $13 million for local food pantries. This year's goal is $1.5 million—a mission that resonates deeply with players.

"Seeing that impact in action is very special," Thompson said. "This is one of the favorite stops on tour. Meijer asks players what can make it better, and that's what makes it so great—helping each other."

With her game sharp and her priorities clear, Thompson is ready to make another run at a title she knows well. For fans of the sport and style, it's a reminder that even champions need to find their rhythm—on and off the course.
