Leeds United delivered a dominant performance against a managerless Burnley side, taking a massive step toward securing their Premier League survival. Daniel Farke's men knew a victory would keep them comfortably clear of the relegation scrap—and they played like a team with everything to play for, while the Clarets looked like a side already resigned to their fate.

The hosts wasted no time stamping their authority on the match. Inside the first eight minutes, Jaka Bijol picked out Anton Stach, who had all the time and space he needed to size up his shot. The German unleashed a fierce, low drive that clipped the inside of Martin Dúbravka's left post before nestling into the net. It was a stunning long-range strike, though the passive Burnley defense and Dúbravka's sluggish reaction certainly made it easier.

Burnley offered little response before halftime, struggling to build any momentum and looking visibly low on confidence whenever they managed to get the ball. The second half, however, saw Leeds pick up right where they left off.

In the 52nd minute, the Whites produced a beautifully worked team goal to double their lead. Dominic Calvert-Lewin robbed possession in midfield, held up play brilliantly, and back-heeled the ball into the path of Jayden Bogle. Bogle's cross found Noah Okafor, who made no mistake in converting from close range. It was the kind of slick, cohesive football that has become a hallmark of Farke's best sides.

The third goal wasn't quite as pretty, but it was just as effective. Ao Tanaka's dipping shot forced Dúbravka into a parry, and Calvert-Lewin was on hand to pounce on the rebound and finish the job. At 3-0, Leeds seemed to be cruising, even after a brief scare when Lucas Pires had the ball in the net only to see his effort ruled out for offside.

Burnley did manage to pull one back shortly after, as Jaidon Anthony threaded a neat through ball for Loum Tchaouna to latch onto and finish. But Leeds quickly regained their composure, brushing off that momentary lapse to see out the win with authority.

The result lifts Leeds to 14th in the table, now one point clear of Newcastle United, and leaves them on the verge of confirming their Premier League status for next season. For a club with such a rich history and passionate fanbase, staying up is always the first goal—and on this form, the Whites look ready for the challenge ahead.
