When WWE legend Ric Flair speaks, the sports world listens—and Tuesday was no exception. The "Nature Boy" took to X to voice his frustration with Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic, who missed Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference semifinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a lingering hamstring injury. Doncic hasn't played since April 2, sidelined by a Grade 2 hamstring strain with no clear return date. Flair's bold suggestion? Lakers owner Jeanie Buss should consider trading the Slovenian star next year.

But Flair wasn't done. Just hours before Thursday's Game 2, he shifted his focus to LeBron James, delivering a fiery vote of confidence. "With Or Without Luka Doncic, I’m So Confident That LeBron James Will Prevail Tonight! You Can Sit On The Sidelines Or Be In The Game. WOOOOO!" Flair posted, channeling his signature energy to rally behind the Lakers' veteran leader.

That support comes after a tough Game 1 loss, where the Thunder dominated 108-90. James led all scorers with 27 points on an efficient 12-for-17 shooting, adding four rebounds and six assists. But the Lakers couldn't keep pace, with Austin Reaves struggling (3-for-16 from the field) and the supporting cast—Rui Hachimura, Marcus Smart, and Deandre Ayton—failing to match the defending champions' firepower. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren showcased why Oklahoma City is a title threat, overwhelming the No. 4-seeded Lakers.

Now, with Game 2 tipping off Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET, the Lakers face a critical juncture. A win would even the series and keep their upset hopes alive; a loss would put them in a 0-2 hole that's historically tough to climb out of. For James, who's built a career on defying the odds, Flair's rallying cry might be just the spark he needs. Whether Doncic returns or not, the King will have to lead the charge—and the sports world will be watching.
